As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, I don’t have specific information about a learning management system (LMS) for Mangalayatan University Online. However, I can provide you with a general understanding of what an LMS is and what it might offer for online learning.
A Learning Management System (LMS) is a software application or web-based platform designed to manage and deliver educational content and resources to learners. LMS systems are commonly used in educational institutions, including universities, to facilitate online and blended learning. Here are some of the typical features and functions of an LMS:

Student learning in a course will be assessed through a comprehensive evaluation process that includes internal assignments, students’ response sheets, and semester-end examinations. The MU Online university follows a rigorous approach in developing question papers, question banks, assignments, and their review, as well as in the administration of examinations, assessment by qualified educators, and the declaration of results. The Directorate ensures that question papers cover the entire syllabus to ensure thorough learning by all students. The assessment consists of two types: continuous or formative assessment through assignments and summative assessment through end-semester examinations, which will be conducted using technology-supported remote proctoring tools.
We also adhere to guidelines issued by regulatory authorities regarding examination conduct. Examinations aim to evaluate the knowledge acquired during the study period and are divided into two categories: internal and external examinations. For theory courses, internal evaluation involves continuous assessment through student assignments and quizzes, accounting for a maximum of 30 marks for each course (with two assignments for four-credit theory papers). End-semester examinations for each course are three hours in duration and take place at the conclusion of each semester.

The procedure for assigning internal marks for theory courses involves students submitting two assignments, each worth 30 marks. The average score from these two assignments will be used as the final internal assessment mark.
To pass a course, students must achieve a minimum of 40% marks in both the Continuous Evaluation (IA) and Term-End Examinations (TEE) separately. If a student falls short of the 40% mark requirement in either the IA or TEE, they will need to retake that specific component (either IA or TEE, depending on the case).
